Every journey leads back to a good story… and after countless imagined adventures, our beloved bookstore mouse is finally returning to Old Fox!

You may have heard the tale—a mouse who lives in our bookstore, occasionally hitching a ride with unsuspecting patrons on their travels, sending us postcards from places near and far. Copernicus, written by our very own Janice Holmes and beautifully illustrated by Juliette Pasquini, tells the story of how his wanderlust first began—right here at home.

The book arrives on May 1st, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate the beginning of his story (and his return to us!) than on Annapolis’s most beloved day of the year.
